GLE in the Community

It is better to give than to receive… is one of the many reasons GLE began a Philanthropy committee. The focus of this group is to give back to the community, as well as promote goodwill and teamwork among our employees. Over the past few years, GLE has launched and participated in various charitable programs, including:

_ Yearly participation in Tampa’s Paint Your Heart Out
_ Yearly participation in Gainesville’s Great Air Potato Roundup

_ Annual monetary and supply donation to various organizations that support educational needs including the Hillsborough Education Foundation, the Atlanta Community Food Bank's Kids in Need program and Duval County Public School's Teacher's Depot

_ Annual Thanksgiving can food drive and monetary donation for Tampa’s Metropolitan Ministries
_ Annual Christmas Angels, where we sponsor families from a local School Board
_ Clothing donation for The Spring, a Tampa-based domestic violence organization
_ Participation in HabiJax (Habitat for Humanity in Jacksonville)
_ Volunteer for the North East Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair
_ Scholarship donation to the Florida Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials (FAHRO)
_ Donation to the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital’s Fisher House

_ Volunteer for the Atlanta Community Food Bank
