GLE served as the Federal Aviation Authority’s (FAAs) Environmental Consultant for projects at the FAA Jacksonville Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT). GLE provided a review of the Asbestos Contractor’s Asbestos Abatement Plans, development of air monitoring plans, one for the area air monitoring inside the regulated area and in FAA occupied areas outside the regulated area, and another plan to address personal air monitoring for FAA personnel outside of the regulated work area. GLE conducted project briefings for FAA employees during various phases of each project. During each project, GLE provided 24-hour air monitoring services with on-site analysis by Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM). In addition, final clearance air sampling was performed at the conclusion of the project with analysis by PCM and/or Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
