Dorm Room Rehabilitation  

GLE was selected in February of 2009 by Chugach Management Services to provide A/E services for Dorm No. 375 rehabilitation.  GLE is currently providing Architecture, MEP and Civil Engineering services for this fast track project located on Macdill Air Force Base. 

The civil engineering services consist of designing a retrofit parking lot within a landscaped park area and a new recycle dumpster site.  This portion of the overall project is being considered bid alternates to the Dorm project.

Miscellaneous civil services being provided as part of the GLE A/E team are:

· Utility coordination
· As-built and specific purpose surveys of the existing contours, trees, walkways, site lighting, and   other existing surface features
· Geotechnical studies
· Permitting determination/requirements for SWFWMD were completed and incorporated into the construction documents
· Design concept site plan and complete construction drawings in compliance with the BASE and   SWFWMD requirements
· Cost Estimating
· Value Engineering
