Construction Monitoring Services

As the Construction Consultant for the Housing Authority of Pompano Beach’s (HAPB) development consultant TAG Associates, Inc., GLE is currently providing construction monitoring services for the development of the 302 unit Golden Acres community. The 30+ acre parcel is being developed as “affordable housing” by the partnership of HAPB and the Pinnacle Housing Group. Based on funding sources, the development will be developed as two simultaneous phases, Golden Square and Golden Villas. The total development will consist of 13 three story residential buildings, two clubhouses, and one community building.

GLE has completed plans reviews of the architect/engineer’s construction documents for constructibility, completeness and compliance with applicable building codes. GLE has conducted meetings with the design team to present the findings from our plans reviews and discuss value engineering alternatives. Additionally, GLE is representing HAPB in the contractor selection process. GLE will provide construction monitoring services during construction.
