Roof Management Contract  

GLE serves as a roofing consultant for the HCSD managing all roofing activities throughout the school system. GLE utilizes an integrated computer database to track all maintenance and replacements to determine the useful life, plan maintenance costs and develop a schedule and priorities for replacements. We perform regular inspections of the roofing systems throughout the district as well as emergency response inspections when leaks develop. The database is updated regularly capturing data collected from inspection, repairs and information from new facilities as they come online. The district has over 20 million square feet of roofing systems in this program. GLE has also developed plans and specifications for a district-wide roof repair contract. Additionally, we have also prepared plans and specifications for numerous roof replacement projects.
