General Growth Properties: Since 2002, GLE has served as the primary environmental consultant for General Growth Properties, Inc., for facilities located throughout the State of Florida and Georgia.
GLE has successfully completed over 550 projects with scope of work involving Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Transaction Screening Procedures (TSPs), hazardous materials surveys, underground storage tank (UST) investigations, hydraulic lift removal and impact assessments, third party facility decommissioning oversight, indoor air quality/mold assessments including hurricane response activities, asbestos surveys and monitoring.
Several high profile projects involved the decommissioning and demolition of several large mall anchor stores (ranging in size from 160,000 SF to 200,000 SF) in the GGP portfolio. GLE’s services included a comprehensive survey of the facilities for the presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and other hazardous substances such as Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), mercury, lead-based paints, and facility maintenance chemicals which required proper removal and disposal prior to commencing with the planned demolitions.

The Pugliese Company: GLE completed a 17-acre mixed use project in Rockledge, combining condominiums, retail, office, live/work lofts and three-story townhomes with amenities and a City Gateway. This zoning and gateway community project involved working closely with the City of Rockledge, CRA officials and the owner.
The diversity of architectural building types, sizes and heights enhances the creation of a sense of place that stimulates interaction of the public and the residences. The large Central Plaza and Fountain was created for public events related to the center, as well as giving the City a place to hold special events throughout the year.
