GLE Associates, Inc. is in the process of developing a new self contained city in Florida. Destiny is on 41,000 acres in Osceola County, bordered by the Florida Turnpike, SR 60 and US 441. The property is adjacent to 80,000 acres in South Okeechobee County. A university and research and development center, a major hospital, corporate headquarters offices, manufacturing and distribution center, complete civic and governmental services offices are all planned for the development. A major lake and interconnected river system throughout the communities are some of the interesting features that work to bring a unique and tranquil lifestyle to the citizens of Destiny. 

The plan is setup to preserve the natural and habitat-preserve areas with a path system linking to the adjacent 80,000 acres and throughout the community. A central city centre on a major lake linking to the lake-river system for social and recreational activities, a theater, shopping and a mix of living units, will offer an upscale lifestyle for all levels of Destiny citizens. An internal mix of roadway/pathway systems is planned, reducing the necessity to leave the master planned communities, and developing a “live, work and play” sense of place. All levels of K-12 schools are strategically located throughout the residential communities.
