Architectural/Engineering Contract

GLE has been fortunate to provide architectural and engineering services to the Pasco County Housing Authority (PCHA) for the past ten years. We developed the needs assessment and provided design through construction administration services for the comprehensive modernization of Cypress Manor Apartments. Improvements completed for this 10 building community include exterior renovations, interior casework and finish replacement, new HVAC installations, electrical system upgrades, plumbing fixture replacement, window replacement, modernization of life safety features, site upgrades, and site drainage corrections. 

We also provided Physical Needs Assessments for Citrus Villas, Cypress Villas I & II, Pasco Terrace, Bonnie Dale Villas and Sunny Dale Villas. Additionally, GLE has completed numerous projects for PCHA, including HVAC installations to the Dade Oaks Elderly, Citrus Village and Pasco Terrace communities.  PCHA has also employed GLE to complete inspections of fair market housing projects associated with the potential purchase by PCHA. Finally, GLE has completed HUD noise assessments and window replacement projects, multiple roof replacement projects and several screen door replacements.

GLE was reselected to serve as the Indefinite Quantity Architectural and Engineering Services Consultant in 2009 and recently awarded the following projects as apart of this contract:
 
- Kitchen renovations at Cypress Villas I and Cypress Villas II Apartments
- Water heater replacement and road resurfacing at Cypress Villas I Apartments
- Erosion control, landscaping and irrigation installation at Cypress Villas II and Citrus Villas
- Retaining wall replacement and road resurfacing at Sunny Dale Apartments
- Rear screen door replacement at Pasco Terrace apartments
- Renovating one Pasco Terrace Apartment unit for 504/ADA accessibility compliance

Asbestos & Lead Consulting Services

As part of a term consulting contract, GLE has provided lead consulting services associated with the renovation of the Dade Oaks Housing community. These projects included a lead-based paint assessment of approximately 69 units and lead-based paint clearance testing. GLE has also provided asbestos consulting services which include pre-renovation asbestos surveys and lead-based paint screening surveys of the Lake George Housing Development and abatement monitoring and oversight for the Cypress Farms ADA Renovation Project.
