Asbestos Abatement

For the past nine years, GLE has supervised the asbestos abatement during the biannual closure of the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant. This involves approximately six weeks of 24-hour, 7-days per week on-site project monitoring. During the length of this contract GLE has operated under extreme caution, realizing the extent of a mistake in this type of an environment could cause a fatal outcome. In addition, we have performed several mold investigations at various locations on the plant campus.

We have also worked at the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant, performing a plant-wide mold investigation following hurricanes Francis and Jeanne and supervising the asbestos abatement during plant closures.
