We are looking for a Project Manager in our Jacksonville office to join our growing Building Assessment/Construction Consulting team, who as a member of our collaborative team, will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise while, being responsible for performing construction inspections, property condition assessments (PCA) of existing commercial properties, monitoring construction projects, and assisting with ADA audits. Responsibilities:

  • Construction inspections, to confirm projects are being conducted in accordance with construction industry standards, plans and specifications, project schedule and pay application review
  • Forensic assessment of building systems and distressed conditions for various commercial projects
  • Making recommendations for maintenance and remaining useful life for building systems
  • Technical report writing; clear, concise condition and status reports
  • Conducting site visits to: monitor construction, review contractors’ requisitions for payment, and recommend the release of payment
  • Property Condition Assessments, evaluating the condition of building components/ systems
  • Cost estimation associated with construction projects or replacement of building components/ system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, cost estimation, or equivalent field experience and licenses
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect Preferred
  • 5-9 years of construction administration, construction management, architecture, engineering or similar experience
  • Experience performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and related projects
  • Knowledge and experience in assessing various property types, general building codes, and construction industry standards
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with advanced technical writing skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide outstanding client service and satisfaction
  • Travel Required
  • Ability to climb ladders, roofs, work outside, navigate stairs, sites and building interiors
  • Manage multiple projects

Valid driver’s license as fieldwork and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
