San Bernardino International Airport

The San Bernardino International Airport is located at the former Norton Air Force Base. GLE served as the design and construction manager for the environmental remediation and demolition of Building 747 and the East Annex Offices, located in Hangar 763. Hangar 747 consisted of the evaluation, abatement and remediation of hazardous materials, demolition of the vacant portion of the hangar to the slab, construction of a new exterior wall for the occupied building, and development of the remaining slab into a parking and storage area. The East Annex Office project consisted of abatement and interior demolition in Hangar 763. Environmental remediation consisted of asbestos, mold, PCBs, and mercury. General demolition consisted of all interior walls, plumbing, and mechanical and electrical systems.
